Restaurant General Manager, twenty-eight Atlantic

Cape Cod's only double Five-Star resort is looking for a General Manager for its signature restaurant, twenty-eight Atlantic. This elegant waterfront venue is the first and only Five-Star establishment on the Cape and Islands and one of only 73 in the world.

We are seeking a dynamic leader who is passionate and knowledgeable about food, wine, and service. This position represents the essence of the restaurant and driver of its success. The individual would be responsible for the management of the day-to-day operation focusing on providing memorable customer service.

The general manager's responsibilities include:

* Developing, implementing, and maintaining the resort's quality service standards.

* Ensuring food and beverages are served according to standards in an efficient and gracious manner

* Leading daily pre-meal meetings

* Supervising, scheduling, hiring, and training the restaurant team

* Completing all closing paperwork

* Adhering to all Massachusetts liquor laws

* Promoting company values through all interactions

A minimum of five years' experience in a fine dining restaurant and college degree is preferred. The individual should be adept at communicating with both guests and team and have exceptional guest recovery skills. The candidate should be able to represent and manage one of the finest restaurants in the country.
