Natomas Unified School District is Hiring a Coordinator III - Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P) Near Sacramento, CA

Job Summary
Natomas Unified School District is seeking a Coordinator III who will focus on the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P). This position is responsible for managing and implementing after-school and intersession programs, including winter, spring, and summer, in Natomas Unified School District, prioritizing unduplicated pupils in accordance with Ed Code 46120. This position's responsibilities include developing partnerships between NUSD, community-based partners, enrichment providers, and specialty vendors to provide high-quality, inquiry-based, hands-on opportunities, providing all scholars equitable access to enriching and meaningful programs in a safe learning environment to deepen scholar understanding, build 21st-century skills, and enhance their confidence and ensure all program activities in the expanded learning opportunity program are in alignment with NUSD's vision. Additional responsibilities include planning, organizing, and implementing professional development for program staff and volunteers and presenting board reports as needed. This position works closely with the assigned supervisor and works collaboratively with district departments and school administrators to support the implementation of the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program.

A 223-day work calendar will be built with the supervisor to ensure coverage outside the regular school year. This responsibility will be shared among multiple leaders. The daily schedule will typically be 9 am - 6 pm.
Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities could qualify someone for this position. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:

Education: Equivalent to a Master's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in education, education administration, social work or a related field.

Experience: Administrative experience in K-12 setting preferred, managing programs, supervising staff, collaborating with community and business partners, providing oversight of health and safety, and aligning resources and services in education settings.

CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES:
-Valid California Administrative Services Credential issued by the State of California.
-Has a cleared teaching credential and at least three years of teaching experience in a TK-12 setting.
-A valid California Driver's License.

The duties assigned include but are not limited to the following:
-Support the implementation of Natomas Unified's Vision, Core Values and Goals, and Theory of Action.
-Engages students, staff, and parents in completing periodic and post-program surveys for continuous program quality improvement.
-Ensures that programs adhere to practices aligned with the quality standards for after-school programs.
-Interpret and implement elements of the Education Code 46120.
-Lead in the promotion of the ELO-P program across the district.
-Work collaboratively with district departments.
-Implement safety procedures to ensure safety in after-school programs.
-Provide professional development related to the NUSD Expanded Learning Opportunities Plan.
-Lead in periodic revisions of the ELO-P plan.
-Ensure supervision is provided to maintain student-to-staff ratios aligned to the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program plan.
-Manage, supervise, and monitor the workflow from central office community-based organizations and enrichment providers.
-Lead in administering assessment surveys, collecting and organizing data, and presenting data information to parents, staff, supervisors, and the board as requested.
-Provide oversight of the expanded learning opportunities program budget, prepare budgets through the budget development process, and ensure expenditures are aligned with the ELO-P purposes.
-Prepare documentation for auditing purposes.
-Work with the site principal to implement ELO-P programs.
-Conduct site visits to provide support to staff and school programs.
-Perform related duties as required.
