We are seeking a Wildlife Technician who is ready to join our family and help continue our company growth!

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be well organized, detail oriented and self-motivated. While supported by an incredible team of pest management professionals, our technicians work independently throughout the day. If you enjoy being on the go, learning something new every day, and interacting with a variety of customers, this position might be just what you have been searching for.

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Abide regulations by FL Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services and O.S.H.A.
  • Climbing ladders of various heights with safety equipment and materials.
  • Operating power tools to apply materials to job specifications.
  • Translating blueprints to real world application Trapping and catching wildlife under Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and company guidelines.
  • Able to safely traverse rooftops and tight spaces alike.
  • Gain an understanding of wildlife habit and identify signs of activity.
  • Use modern technology to communicate with customers and coworkers.
  • Work in a team environment with a positive attitude .
  • Troubleshooting construction flaws and identifying small entry points with intent to repair and seal.
  • Following directive from leadership to accomplish company goals.
  • Maintaining punctuality with the ability to work within a given appointment time frame.
  • Ability to operate various company vehicles

Physical requirements:

  • Ability to lift and maneuver up to 75lbs independently and team lift up to 200lbs.
  • Ability to climb ladders and fit in tight spaces such as attic hatch or crawl space entry.
  • Ability to safely walk and work on rooftops of residential and commercial job sites with equipment.
  • Ability to withstand various weather and temperature conditions.
  • Ability to inspect an analyze a situation and take corrective action to rectify problem.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Position Type:

This is a full-time position. Some Saturdays may be required.

Travel:

Local daily travel within the assigned territory.
