Responsibilities Description: At Peraton we drive missions of consequence spanning the globe. As the world's leading mission capability integrator and transformative enterprise engineering provider we deliver trusted engineering capabilities to our nation's security and provide solutions which keep our nation safe. The Space and Intelligence Sector is seeking a Senior Level SAR Systems Engineer to work within our dynamic engineering team in Chantilly VA. You will be a key member supporting NGA's Sensor Integration (TIS) Office, providing strategic and solutions-level systems engineering support for the integration of new sensor capabilities into the Enterprise architecture. You will be working within a large team supporting leading edge technology. As a member of our team, you will have the chance to work with customers that are both Government and industry leaders and technology innovators. Required: * Bachelor's degree or higher in Systems Engineering or in a related technical or scientific fields such as Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program, or related equivalent additional experience of 4 years with no degree or 2 years with a non-STEM degree.
* 12 years of experience working in government or industry in relevant work areas including: DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES Process or systems engineering of large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture environments residing in cloud, on premise, or hybrid infrastructures.
* Experience in government or industry integrating systems that process SAR data.
* Experience with and strong understanding of systems engineering lifecycle. * TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a polygraph.
