Trusted Hands Senior Care, LLC is Hiring a Home Health Aide Near Ellenwood, GA

Position Overview

We are looking for a committed Home Health Aide to assist clients with basic ADL's, health care and hygiene procedures. Complete tasks related to light housekeeping, light meal prep, and many other activities of daily living (ADLs); and provide companionship in the process. Our ideal candidate is a compassionate individual with a strong work ethic and an interest in home health.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general support for in-home clients with basic health care and living assistance
  • Assist client with daily activities of living (ADLs), such as cleaning, bathing, dressing, light meal prep, and any additional needs pertaining to the client.
  • Perform tasks related to light meal prep, bathing, dressing, light housekeeping, and other needs relative to the assigned client(s)
  • Assist clients with mobility issues around the house or facility
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and hygienic environment for clients
  • Offer companionship to clients and engage in suitable activities, such as taking walks, playing board games, and having friendly conversations
  • Maintain detailed reports on client needs and any issues that may arise
  • Report any areas of concern to medical staff and family members as appropriate
  • Act immediately and responsibly in the event of an emergency
  • Remain up-to-date with HHA training, credentials and best practices

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current CPR certification
  • Tuberculosis (TB) test results
  • Willing to be fingerprinted
  • Must complete and pass the PCA (Personal Care Assistant) test (onsite)
  • Previous home health experience is required
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of health and safety
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and time management skills
  • Available to work days, nights, some weekends, and holidays
  • Looking for part-time, full-time or fill-ins (PRN)
  • Physical endurance to complete the required responsibilities
