Sentry is Hiring a Direct Sales Supervisor Near El Paso, TX

Supervises a team of associates responsible for selling and servicing Sentry products to meet growth, retention, profit and sales objectives within our Motorcycle and Non-Standard Auto business units. The Supervisors is responsible for new business and servicing and maintaining renewal business policies (including selling additional coverage to existing customers). Instruct, train, mentor and manage sales team and other inside sales resources in order to meet or exceed sales objectives. Assists in the development and implementation of appropriate sales training and coaching for the teams. Provides leadership and direction to assigned staff and performs personnel administration, including selection, training, performance management, salary administration, and associate development.
This position will be located in our El Paso, TX office.
The ideal Direct Sales Supervisor will have effective leadership skills and is able to provide direction and motivation to their staff to ensure Sentry continues to provide exceptional service on sales and service calls. This individual will lead our Dairyland insurance and Harley Davidson insurance direct sales team dedicated to Non-standard Auto and Motorcycle insurance sales. You will need availability Monday - Saturday between 7:00 am - 9:00 pm CST.
What You'll Do:
  • Coach, counsel, and motivate your sales service team
  • Develop and implement sales service standards, policies, and procedures
  • Improve sales service quality results by performing audits and monitoring results to ensure and enhance adherence to service standards
  • Provide expertise in handling sensitive/unusual sales and service issues
  • Recommend necessary adjustments to workforce staffing based on needs of the business unit
  • Other job-related functions as assigned
What it Takes:
  • Associates Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2 years of related work experience
  • Ability to pass/maintain Property and Casualty Agent Licensing
  • Proven people skills with effective experience in training, managing, mentoring, and evaluating direct reports
  • Ability to prioritize work and maintain appropriate service standards
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and communicate results
  • Working knowledge of telecommunication systems and call center software
  • Knowledge of insurance processes, procedures, and systems beneficial
  • Ability to respond to sensitive inquiries or complaints from others
