TrueContext is looking to build and strengthen our services implementation team by identifying a talented Solution Architect. The ideal candidate should possess skills that make him/her a subject matter expert in cloud and mobile integration technologies and enterprise content management, along with experience managing teams, enterprise clients and leading proof-of-concepts.

This ideal location for this incumbent is one of the following cities; Bogota or Medellin

Team Leadership and Management:

  • Provide strong leadership to the technical team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Set clear goals and objectives for the team, ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategic objectives.
  • Mentor and coach team members, helping them to develop their technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and professional growth.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging knowledge sharing and learning within the team.
  • Handle any personnel issues or conflicts that may arise within the team in a fair and timely manner.
  • Assist with retention and recruitment efforts as the team scales to meet the growth of the business

Project Management and Delivery:

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and establish priorities.
  • Allocate resources effectively, balancing workload and priorities across the team.
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or obstacles, taking proactive measures to mitigate them.
  • Keep stakeholders informed of project status and communicate any deviations from the plan
  • Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.

Technical Guidance and Decision Making:

  • Provide technical guidance and expertise to the team, assisting with problem-solving and architectural design decisions as they related to various mobile technology areas and cloud-data storage
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in software development and architecture.
  • Collaborate with other solution architects and engineers to design scalable, reliable, and secure solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and methodologies to improve the team's productivity and efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, software development methodologies, and architectural principles.
  • Act as a liaison between the technical team and upper management, translating technical concepts into business terms and vice versa.
  • Make strategic technical decisions that align with the company's goals and objectives, balancing short-term needs with long-term considerations.
  • Develop proposals for implementation and design of Mobile architecture with domain knowledge of Android, iOS and Mobile Development Platforms
  • Own and lead initiatives to define, design, and implement mobile solutions, which include reference architectures, back-end integrations, estimates, and costing

Requirements 

  • Computer or Software Engineering Degree. Masters in Business, Systems, Electrical or Industrial Engineering is considered a plus! 
  • Strong knowledge of mobile technologies, API’s and webhooks
  • 2 years in a Solution Architect, Client Advisory or Pre-Sale position
  • 2 years of experience in reviewing architecture designs related to enterprise content management or analytics
  • Prior experience as a Technical Team Manager is considered an asset
  • Demonstrated project management experience in Agile methodologies which includes project planning, execution, risk management, and resource management
  • Appreciation of issues related to change management, quality and compliance in enterprise IT environments
  • Attention to issues related to data security and protection of confidentiality and privacy
  • Experience working in, or collaborating with product engineering teams is an asset
  • Experience working on projects requiring elements of operational reporting and business analytics is an asset
  • Strong knowledge of, and expertise in mobile solution delivery and data strategy
  • Practical expertise in performance tuning and optimization
  • Active community member and contributor to open source projects is a plus
  • Solid technical expertise and troubleshooting skills
  • Fluent oral and written English
