TriVector Services, Inc., is seeking qualified candidates to fill our AMD Software Engagement Product Owner position.

Description:

This position will work as a member of the Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office (PO). The position will include reviewing and understanding Systems Engineering concepts, designs and algorithms and providing guidance to the development team. The product owner will work with Program management in setting priorities for the capabilities and defects for the team for each product increment and sprint. The position will include technical briefings and advisement to leadership on status and recommended courses of action, competing capabilities, performance, risks, and impacts to the IFMC mission.

The candidate must have a basic understanding of Engagement Operations (EO) concepts to include engagement planning/scheduling, threat evaluation, target selection, battlespace prediction and sensor resource management. The candidate should have the ability oversee EO SW development team and verify the teams work based on agreed upon acceptance criteria. The candidate must be able to work directly with the Agile software developers. An additional plus is knowledge in IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS and familiar with current EO implementations in one or more of the DoD services. Prior Product Owner experience on a SCRUM team is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret clearance
• Candidate must be a US Citizen
• BS Degree in Engineering (ABET accredited program), Science, or Math with 7 years of experience
• Background in Agile software development
• Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong leadership and teaming skills

• Enthusiasm, independent critical thinker, leadership skills, and a team attitude are important, as well as the ability to respond to quick turn requests.
