Aerial Mobility and Aerial Systems Engineer

Triton Systems is seeking an entrepreneurial engineer with a passion for turning ideas into products. Triton's diverse business will give you experience across the product development cycle and allow you to shine in a fast-paced environment. This position will work on a team conducting product development efforts for personal air mobility products including parachutes, paragliders, paramotors, electric paramotors, and other similar manned and unmanned aerial delivery/aerial mobility equipment.
Responsibilities:

• Product design including: user research, formal requirements definition, ideation, analysis of alternatives, design, analysis, prototyping, testing, and design for manufacturing
• Presentation of results to customers (written reports and oral presentations)
• Support customer, partner, and supply chain management
• Support business development through customer relationships and proposal writing

Qualifications:

• Experience with parachute or similar equipment design, testing and/or development. Experience and/or passion for skydiving and paragliding a huge plus.
• Adaptability and desire to learn new technologies
• Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals
• Familiarity with solid modeling and drawing creation, SolidWorks preferred
• Hands-on experimental and fabrication experience
• Knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication methods
• Technical writing and proposal experience desired
• Familiarity with 2D textile drawings and patterns desired

Education/Experience:

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering. Advanced degree is a plus.
• 3 years of experience working in parachute, paraglider, paramotors or related fields required
• Experience flying or servicing powered paramotors is desired
• Experience using parachutes is desired
