Apply for position at: Location: US IN-Bloomington Employee Type: Full-Time/ Exempt Travel Required: Yes - 20% Relocation Accommodation: Yes Approximate Start Date: Upon Suitable Candidate Selection Posting Close: Upon Suitable Candidate Selection TRISTAR is an Software Product Owner for our upcoming government customer in Bloomington, IN Position Description: The highly skilled and motivated Product Owner will join our development team As the Product Owner, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our products by collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize product features and enhancements Will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the needs of our customers while aligning with the company's strategic objectives Position Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap Prioritize features and enhancements based on customer needs, market trends, and business objectives Create and maintain the product backlog, ensuring that it accurately reflects the priorities and requirements of the business Work closely with development teams to communicate product requirements and provide guidance throughout the development process Define and prioritize user stories, acceptance criteria, and other product-related artifacts Conduct regular sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings with development teams Act as the primary point of contact for product-related questions, clarifications, and feedback Monitor and analyze key metrics to measure product performance and identify areas for improvement Position Requirements: Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in a software development environment Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and principles Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products on schedule Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable plans Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities MUST be a US Citizen Must have active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one Education and Certification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field IAT level II certification with DoD 8570 (Example CompTIA Security Plus) or willingness to obtain prior to start date COVID Policy: TRISTAR does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters.
