Job Summary:

To maintain the automatic pinsetters and other mechanical and electrical equipment of the facility to the highest level of efficiency. To supervise and train all personnel involved in the maintenance of building and equipment.

• Schedules and supervises work of the Facilities and Janitorial staff
• Follows and administers safety procedures
• Maintains and repairs:
• Pinsetter machines, following Preventive Maintenance Schedule Procedures
• Bowling lanes, tele-foul units
• Bowling equipment including Cosmic equipment
• Automatic scorers, where applicable
• Heating, air conditioning, and electronic equipment
• Building interior, exterior, and entry
• Maintenance and clean equipment
• Public areas
• Equipment
• Pin maintenance
• Vending and cold drink machines
• Lane machines
• Washer, dryer, and vacuum
• Keeps pit area neat and clean
• Keeps records of parts inventory, costs, and pinsetter machine performance
• Prepares orders of parts and supplies for Manager’s approval
• Tool maintenance and inventory
• Assists Manager in preparing annual forecasting of major improvements and repair programs
• Trains and develops maintenance staff
• Provides friendly, courteous, polite, and helpful customer service
• Performs preventive maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration equipment
• Sets up lane condition
• Monitors energy conservation
• Adds electrical circuits to building
• Performs carpentry and plumbing
• Changes water and air filters
• Interviews and selects maintenance personnel and prepares performance reviews to include touch-up of walls
• Checks for fire hazards
• Parking lot maintenance and repair
• Weld items, as needed
• Oils lanes with a lane machine

Requirements

• Pinsetter and lane maintenance knowledge
• Minimum 2-3 years pinsetter experience
• One-year HVAC experience
• Scorer school
• Successfully demonstrate all of the facilities 1 and 2’s duties
• Be friendly, polite, and professional
• Lift up to 50 pounds
