Shift:Day Shift
Description:Conducts a variety of tasks within the department including utility, room service, café server and general kitchen worker.
Job Status: 16 hours per pay period
Shift: Primarily 1st shift
Additional Information:
- 6 am to 2:30 pm and 10:30 am to 7:00 pm
- Possible 3 of 4 weekends
- Rotating holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Competency in communication skills, mathematics and computers.
- Above average attention to personal hygiene.
- Serv Safe Food Safety Certification or Ottawa County Health Department Food Safety Program preferred.
- Assemble, track, deliver and retrieve patient meal trays.
- Prepare and assemble food items for patient trays.
- Understand and follow all physical and food safety policies and procedures.
- Complete all logs including sanitation solution, dish machine temperatures, refrigerators, freezers, receiving, pass thru, and food temperature logs.
- Handle cash responsibly according to departmental policies and procedures.
- Serve Café customers and interact in a friendly, positive, enthusiastic manner.
