Qualifications
Must have a high school diploma
Must be able to read and use the following equipment: voltage/amp meters, rulers, tape measures, micrometers, pipe threading machine, welder, and forklift.
Must be able to use tools such as: pipe wrenches, crescent wrenches, allen wrenches, vise grips, screw drivers, and other common tools such as hammers, drills, grinders, saws, hydraulic pumps, torch welders, multimeters, pressure gages, lockout/tagout devices, all safety equipment.
Must be able to read and understand blueprints and schematics, hydraulic and electrical.
Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
Must be able to lift 75 lbs. and be able to push/pull up to 1500 lbs. on mold carts or crane system
Must be able to operate a forklift and pass a driving and written test.
Must have a valid state driver’s license.
Must be able to work overtime on short notice including Saturdays and Holidays.
Must be able to work in unusual, cramped, or confined spaces.
Must be able to climb an 18’ ladder and work on roofs.
Must be able to perform routine and annual maintenance on a large assortment of equipment.
Must be able to follow a written schedule of numbers and dates.
Must be able to speak English fluently.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include the following. Other duties may be assigned.)
1. Coordinate daily activities with the Plant Manager
2. Maintenance programs per quality system standards at the Plant Manager’s direction.
3. Maintain Uptime while other duties are being performed.
4. Productivity Improvements.
5. Machine performance and cleanliness.
6. Troubleshoot both hydraulic and electric problems on all equipment.
7. Feedback to Plant Manager regarding machine performance and condition.
8. Participate in plant housekeeping activities.
9. Assist in maintaining all quality system documentation.
10. Must maintain plant according to all OSHA requirements.
11. Any other activities or duties assigned by the Plant Manager
