Fenner Precision Polymers is Hiring an Inventory Control Specialist I Near Lancaster, PA

Basic Scope/Purpose:(The job’s primary purpose or contribution to the department or organization.)

The Inventory Control responsibilities include: executing cycle count programs, recommending corrective actions, and participating in improvement plans. The Inventory Control Specialist (ICS) will work with the other functional groups to provide support on inventory corrections. The ICS will be responsible for the cleanliness and organization of inventory locations. The ICS may be required to pick, pack, ship, receive, and/or put away to ensure our customer’s orders are shipped on time.

Inventory Control Specialist I

·Monitors and maintains inventory levels.

·Conduct daily cycle counts in accordance with company standards to ensure accurate inventory levels.

·Accurately document and record inventory data, utilizing relevant software and systems.

·Compiles inventory information such as consumption rate, characteristics, value and stock on hand to determine stock supply and need to replenishment.

·Maintain the cleanliness and organization of controlled inventory locations, ensuring a neat and orderly workspace.

·Collaborate with the site-level shipping and receiving teams to ensure adherence to internal inventory control standards.

·Assist in resolving off-cycle inventory discrepancies by working closely with planning and procurement departments to identify and rectify issues promptly.

·Participate in inventory audits and assist in identifying areas for process enhancement.

·Drive and sustain improvements in site level inventory control processes.

·Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall inventory control function and departmental goals.

·Uphold and champion the values and behaviors of Fenner Precision Polymers at all times.

Inventory Control Specialist II

Proficiency in the Principal accountabilities of a level I and the following:

·Support the development and implementation of inventory control training programs for team members.

·Ensure the seamless flow of transactions (production, receiving, warehousing) through ERP systems, collaborating with the team to enhance and rectify processes as needed.

·Cultivate a culture of cooperation and consistency both internally and externally, promoting effective communication and collaboration.

·Provide regular reports and updates on inventory control status and improvements to management.

Inventory Control Specialist III

Proficiency in the Principal accountabilities of a levels I and II the following:

·Possess a deep understanding of business process flows and the functionality of ERP systems, with the ability to connect activities to their financial impact.

·Responsible for identifying and reporting on the root causes of inventory inaccuracies when the value exceeds $500, proposing corrective actions.

·Work closely with the engineering department to ensure that Bill of Materials (BOMs) and Routings are accurate and up to date.

·Regularly publish key metrics, including cycle count accuracy and work order closings, to track performance and identify areas for improvement

·Maintain and Promote Fenner Precision Polymers Values and Behaviors at all times.

Education and/or Relative Experience:(The level of education and/or experience needed to successfully accomplish the essential duties of this job.)

Inventory Control I:

·High school diploma or general education degree(GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Inventory Control II/III:

·One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations(The licenses, certificates or registrations that are required to perform the essential duties of this job.)

·APICS preferred

·ERP Systems knowledge preferred

Environmental, Health & Safety Accountabilities:(The level of safety accountability needed to successfully accomplish the essential duties of this job.)

·Learn and follow EHS policies, rules and work instructions

·Attend required EHS training

·Wear the required PPE at all times

·Take personal responsibility for keeping yourself and your co-workers and visitors free from injury by participating in and/or conducting risk assessments, work place inspections, corrective actions and safety observations

·Report incidents, near miss, unsafe conditions, unsafe acts and other hazards in the work place. STOP WORK when imminent danger is present

·Maintain work area in a neat and orderly fashion and keep equipment in proper working condition.
