You will collaborate closely with healthcare professionals, including physicians, surgeons, and other nursing staff, to provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing medical and surgical procedures.Key Responsibilities: Patient Care: Provide compassionate and evidence-based nursing care to patients in the Medical Surgery Unit, with a focus on those requiring telemetry monitoring. Telemetry Monitoring: Utilize telemetry equipment to continuously monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, identifying any abnormalities and taking prompt action when necessary. Assessment and Documentation: Conduct thorough patient assessments, document patient information accurately, and maintain up-to-date medical records. Report changes in patient condition to the healthcare team. Medication Administration: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring proper dosage, route, and patient education. Collaboration: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans, including physicians, surgeons, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals. Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on medical conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care plans to promote optimal health outcomes.
