Overview

The Lead Developer- Agresso/ Business World/Unit 4 Applications is responsible for the performance, functionality and reliability of the Agresso/BW consisting of Financials, Travel modules. Ensures 24x7 application software availability in support of mission critical business requirements. Functions in both development and support role for new implementations and improvements projects. Works with the management team to establish strategies and priorities for the overall enterprise by analyzing and understanding the current and future applications needs in order to formulate and recommend technology plans to keep pace with the business demands.

The salary range on this job posting/advertising has been developed to give applicants a wide range to comply with pay transparency laws in all states and geographical areas. Many factors, such as years of experience, geographical location, budget etc. are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.

This role may be eligible for an incentive, commission, bonus, or a discretionary bonus program based on the company's financial goal achievement and individual performance.

Responsibilities

    Provide Applications support and bug fix/enhancements to resolve application issues in a timely manner.
  • Prior support and maintain Agresso/BW central command travel module, Financials, and other supporting applications.
  • Prior experience with Production Support operations and procedures, and define procedures based on corporate policy and compliance
  • Assist with the planning of application changes, installation of upgrades and new releases. This involves interacting with IT, Business and Product teams
  • Ensure service level availability of the Agresso/BW applications and related integrations interfaces
  • Design, Develop, Test and implement application configurations, extensions and enhancements.
  • Develop, document, and enforce application standards and procedures
  • Review Functional/Technical Design and implementation documents.
  • Work with cross project teams to resolve technical performance issues/bottlenecks (e.g., data center, security, network, storage, application)
  • Ensures overall success of a wide range of projects of varying levels of complexity, including project initiation and planning, testing, implementation, and closeout.
  • Establishes and maintains positive business relationships with managers and staff in their functional areas, demonstrating a thorough understanding of the business, their processes, and their priorities, and ensures that system functionality and performance meet current and future business requirements.
  • Interacts with the business users to understand their business needs.
  • Creates quality project plans, manages dashboard reports, issues lists, risk logs, cross-functional team requirements and group presentations.
  • Provides the technology vision and leadership to support the organization's overall strategic vision, mission, and culture.
  • Develops and enforces policy and procedures to ensure the protection of the organization's IT assets and the integrity, security, and privacy of information entrusted to or maintained by the organization.
  • Participates in the analysis, review and evaluation of documentation and business processes related to defining projects to a set of manageable tasks.
  • Carries out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical, and professional manner.
  • Flexible, self-directed, and motivated individual, able to accommodate to shifting priorities. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, information systems, or equivalent in business-related field with 7-10 yrs. of experience related to the duties, responsibilities and skills specified above.
  • Experience in Microsoft .Net Framework 4.0 / 3.5 / 2.0
  • Proven track record in design, developing, managing and supporting Agresso/BW applications.
  • Experienced travel industry professionals are preferred.
  • Must be customer focused; possess excellent communication skills both written and oral; along with strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proven experience in design, development, implementing, supporting Agresso/BW Financials and Central command applications
  • Must have experience configuring, designing, and developing enhancements, integrations with Agresso/BW applications and cloud platforms.
  • Proficient in Agresso/BW Technical foundation, Software components, DB and table structures
  • Proficient in central command travel module of Agresso/BW Financials
  • Must be a self-driven, team player, collaborate with technology teams to get the job done.
  • Experience in web development using ASP .Net, C#, MVC, WCF/Web Services (SOAP/REST)
  • Demonstrated experience with ETL tools and data migration process.
  • Proficient in T-SQL programming, SQL windowed functions, scheduled jobs, and experience in SQL databases, stored procs, SQL queries and scripting.
  • Experience working with databases, MS SQL Server
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, Self-starter, Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
