Total Safety is Hiring a Contracts Pricing Associate Near Fairfield, CA

Total Safety is looking for a Contract Pricing Associate to join their safety conscious team! Contract Pricing Associate is primarily responsible for assisting with overseeing data accuracy, contract compliance, and pricing and availability for all contract updates and new proposals. The key function of this role is to work directly with manufacturers to ensure accurate costs when reviewing contracts along with assisting in any special projects related to contract management. The hourly pay scale for this job is $21-$25.

Essential Duties:

  • Request pricing and quotes from manufacturers to process contract price updates and bid new business opportunities.
  • Contract compliance and pricing management
  • Vendor cost management
  • Maintaining all contract information in Total Safety’s ERP system (pricing, customer part number, etc)
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit for long periods of time; bend; use hands and fingers for keyboard use or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific visions abilities required by the job include close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Supports Contracts Manager from an administrative and information standpoint
  • Reports directly to the Contracts Manager
  • Member of the Contracts Team

Skills and Experience:

  • Attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written skills
  • Capable of meeting multiple deadlines
  • Ability to multitask
  • Intermediate skill and experience in technology applications (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Methodical in approach
  • Ability to follow direction

Working Environment:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to minimal noise levels.
