Cincinnati Metropolitan Area 

Sales Executive – CPG / Food Industry / Broker Experience

Regional/Midwest based food manufacturer hiring for a Sales Executive, located in the Cincinnati area. Prior experience either with a food broker or direct with a manufacturer is preferred.

Primary sales focus will be promoting branded and private label food products into larger retail grocery/retail channels (Ex. Kroger)

• ·Will directly manage key customers and work collaboratively with broker teams to effectively manage customer portfolio and retail sales results.
• Will manage a product portfolio, including pricing strategy, placement guidelines, new item presentations, and portfolio development.
• Must have experience with store promotion and data analytic systems used by grocers/retailers.
• Will develop sales and profit targets, goals, and forecasts. Develop sales objectives and category case volume objectives for all major customers.

Requirements

 Qualifications:

· Proven record of successfully selling branded and/or private label food products within retail, grocery, or broker experience. Demonstrated success of selling branded products within Kroger and/or other grocery chains is preferred.

· Must have prior food industry related experience, including packaged foods or similar consumer products. 

· Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to influence external buyers/customers.

· Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as analytical and problem-solving abilities. 

· Strong presentation and listening skills are required.

· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other computer applications.

· Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, or Marketing with 5 years of industry related experience

· Candidate will work from their home office, preferably in the Metro Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky areas.

· Travel to customer locations, brokers, HQ, trade shows, etc. will be expected as needed.
