Job Description

Position Title: Director of Operations – Corporate, Commercial, Commuter, and Helicopter Parts Supplier

Employment Location: St. Augustine, FL

Benefits:

Salary Range: $65,000 - $95,000/yr, depending on experience.

Job Summary:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dynamic Director of Operations. This role is crucial in supporting and enhancing selling and purchasing operations within a fast-paced and technical environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving net income targets, optimizing inventory levels, fostering customer relationships, and managing various operational aspects of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Decisive action on transaction opportunities in procurement and sales.
Managing and optimizing inventory to enhance gross margins.
Overseeing the quotation and negotiation process.
Maintaining backorders to support the customer base.
Developing and managing customer relationships.
Conducting inventory evaluations and managing the supply program bid process.
Handling contracts, forecasting, budgeting, and staff performance evaluations.

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years experience in aircraft teardowns, buying/selling aircraft components, and managing operations in an aviation parts supply context.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
Proficiency in PC literacy.
Strong business communication and interpersonal skills.
