Job Description: Job Description: Demonstrates high level of competency for all community pharmacist functions and assists manager with oversight of pharmacy operations and personnel. Supports the orientation, training, and development of community pharmacy staff. Sustains professional competence and promotes development through participation in in-services, workshops, seminars, and professional organizations. Supports implementation of pharmacy services in collaboration with associated department services Ensures compliance with Baptist Health policies, 340B program (if applicable), accrediting bodies, REMS compliance, third party payers (including audits), and state and federal regulations. Ensures timely completion of all claim and invoice reconciliation. Maintains record retention in accordance with Baptist Health policies and state and federal regulations. Ensures adequate control and documentation of controlled substance ordering, receiving, inventory management, and dispensing in compliance with state and federal regulations. Maintains compliance with immunization protocols and current training including BLS CPR certification. Ensures integrity of medications by assuring storage under proper conditions (e.g., refrigeration) and security Monitors drug shortages and implements solutions to avoid therapy delays. Supports the development and implement. Minimum Education and Training Kentucky and/or Indiana Board of Pharmacy license in good standing as applicable to practice site Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Current immunization certificate required within six (6) months of hire. Community experience preferred.
