Position Summary:

The Quality Assurance Worker will be responsible for the accuracy and quality of the order fulfillment process as completed by the Distribution Specialist. This will include logging, tracking, building, picking, and confirming orders and information. The Quality Assurance Worker may also conduct general warehouse work to include induction, staging and order fulfillment. The Quality Assurance Worker must perform work independently in a production environment, making sure areas are clean and safe.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Must meet established standards of quality and productivity with/without supervision.
  • Must be able to work with diverse groups of people and often in a teamwork setting.
  • Must be able to maintain a good attendance record.
  • Utilize laptop/desktop device for logging, WMS navigation, Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Quality Assurance Worker duties:

  • Maintain the quality and accuracy of orders originating from the pick module.
  • The Quality Assurance Worker will inform the supervisor of quality issues and concerns.
  • The Quality Assurance Worker will be responsible for checking, monitoring, and confirming the accuracy and quality of the order fulfillment process as completed on the pick module.
  • Ensure excellent quality of work for the WellStar CSC.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to meet production standards and prescribed deadlines.
  • Understand verbal and written production orders to perform tasks.
  • Be able to read smaller print, entirely in English, identifying numbers, letters, and special characters.
  • Be able to count, add, subtract, and divide.
  • Ability to operate handheld mobile devices for logging, cluster building, picking, and confirming.
  • Utilize laptop/desktop device for logging, WMS navigation, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Be able to utilize tethered scanner, perform manual counts and log discrepancies.

Education:

  • High school diploma, GED or other related experience.

Prior Experience Desirable:

  • Minimum one year's experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.

Qualifications:

  • Mission driven, guided by core values.
  • Pleasure to work with; positive team player able to work toward common goals.
  • Must pass drug screen and background check.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.

Equipment

  • Willingness to wear the necessary Personal Protection Equipment, Computers and Handheld Scanners.

Mental Effort:

  • Listens and learns repetitive tasks quickly and meets set standards without further supervision.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, push, pull and stack totes with or without product, repeatedly, up to 40 pounds.
  • Must be able to bend, sit, stand, reach, and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to climb stairs, be comfortable with heights, and be able to work around, near or with other individuals.
  • Work with a moving conveyor.
  • Have a full range of motion in upper and lower body.
  • Be able to reach overhead.
  • Be able to work in various positions, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, and squatting for extended periods of time.
  • Good hand dexterity.

Visual Effort:

  • Warehouse environment with average amount of visual effort.

Safety:

  • Follows all prescribed safety regulations to diminish accidents.
  • Understanding of OSHA safety requirements.
  • Knowledge of evacuation procedures and the whereabouts of exits and fire extinguishers.
  • Immediately report circumstances you consider may present a hazard to yourself and others.
  • Report any accident whether minor or major.
