Job Summary:
The Superintendent will be responsible for directing all construction activity onsite, in accordance to correct construction procedures while adhering to safety standards.
Report to: Project Manager
Duties/Responsibilities:
Safety:
· Responsible for jobsite safety daily
· Ensure all subcontractors participate in safety meetings.
Oversight:
· Assist in developing Construction Master Schedule.
· Schedule and coordinate trades; managing 3-week lookahead schedules.
· Manage City & Third-Party Inspections.
· Ensure jobsites meet SWPPP and BMPs.
· Conduct subcontractor meetings each week.
· Attend weekly meetings with project team.
· Anticipate potential issues in scheduling, coordination and provide remedies that keep the project schedule and budget intact, and implementation of the project schedule or budget.
· Develop strong working relationships with contractors, City Building Officials, and Inspectors
QA/QC:
· Ensure subcontractors are installing work in accordance with the project documents and typical construction practices
· Ensure all activities are completed prior to inspector’s review work onsite
Closeout:
· Manage closeout process with the subcontractors, transfer of utilities, training, and punch list

Education and Experience:
· A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in multi-family construction
· Microsoft Project, Excel and Procore
· OSHA 30
· First Aid & CPR Certified
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Prolonged periods of standing.
· Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
· Up to 20% travel may be required.
