This position is responsible for, but not limited to nursing duties such as: assessments, assisting providers with procedures, calling patients with test results, prescription refills, filing, ordering medical supplies, and additional duties as assigned by provider and/or Clinic Director. Position requires excellent people skills, strong clinical assessment, critical thinking and organizational skills. Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other healthcare technology.Essential Job Functions: Responsible for the documentation of patient care and treatments within the electronic health record Functions as the primary liaison between patients, staff, and providers. Works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to meet the needs of the patient.
