As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions supporting the National Property Broking Team, in our San Francisco office.
Work Style:
Hybrid - work in office 3 days a week.
Your Impact as An Associate Broker
The primary function is to assist senior team members with the marketing of placements as well as supporting clients with their property risk management. The Associate Broker works closely with Producers, Account Executives, Senior Brokers and clients to understand clients needs.
Job Responsibilities:
Accountable for routine support activities to brokers and senior brokers with defined deadlines, related to renewal strategy documents, proposals, submissions along with data analysis for the placement of insurance solutions.
May facilitate and/or participate in client/broker strategy meetings.
May send requests for quotations to the insurance carriers with opportunities to negotiation programs.
Manages daily work within established guidelines and receives general instructions on newly introduced assignments.
Assists with the processing of policy and related documents.
Provides support to the account management process, when appropriate
With minimal mentorship and supervision, identifies and analyzes client exposures and determines which markets to utilize, ensuring detailed evaluation of qualified companies in the marketplace.
You Bring Knowledge and Expertise
Required Experience/Skills
Thorough knowledge of Property and Casualty insurance marketplace including products and services
Maintains a valid Property/Casualty License
Ability to work independently.
Proficient in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook
Must be detail oriented.
Strong Verbal and Written Communication skills
Capable of prioritizing multiple projects/deadlines
Ability to prioritize workload and timelines efficiently and effectively.
Possesses sophisticated analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills and abilities.
Education:
Bachelors degree or equivalent years of proven experience.

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $65,000 to $85,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicants education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicants geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aons annual incentive plans
to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
