TI Fluid Systems is Hiring a Material Handler 2nd shift Near Ashley, IN
The Material Shipping supports the movement and shipping of material for all departments including Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality and/or Materials. $1.25 shift premium applicable.
Responsibilities of Position:
- Maintaining cleanliness inside and outside of Manufacturing Plant.
- Must be willing to be trained in Forklift Operations and Safety. Also be able to obtain an approved Forklift License.
- Performs weigh counts as needed.
- Maintain organization inside and outside of the building.
- Prepare shipping documents and send EDI/ASN's.
- Read and edit picklist etc.
- Properly scan labels and verify proper location of labels etc.
- Perform Dock Audits load confirmation scanning.
- Proper staging and locations of containers.
- Prepare items for shipment by assembling containers/posting weights.
- Load and Unload trucks.
- Follow designated FIFO rotation.
- Support inventory control system requirements.
- Participate in 5-why's.
- Maintain IATF standards/requirements procedures pertaining to Materials.
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- Must be able to work any shift and be available to change within a 1-2 week notice.
- Must be able to perform the material mover duties
- Good Attendance
- Must be reliable.
- Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.
- Individual must be highly motivated
- Communicate in a team environment and be willing to accept team role (s) and responsibilities.
- Treat peers and management with dignity and respect.
- Pallet jack and/or Fork Lift Experience (preferred).
- Material Shipping/Warehouse Experience (preferred).
- Must have basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- High school graduate or GED (minimum).
- Must be able to successfully obtain a Forklift License.
- Occasionally lifts up to 35 pounds.
- Maneuvers in, around, under, and about factory equipment on a regular and continuous basis.
- Work time is spent walking, lifting, and bending.
- Must be able to continuously bend, twist, reach, stoop, squat and walk.
- Must be able to occasional climb steps.
- Works within an automotive components manufacturing, office, and warehouse setting.
- Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in the wet, cold and heat.
