Job Description

Thorco, Inc., an Electrical Contractor in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, has been in business since 1980. We are looking for a candidate to be trained as a Project Manager/Estimator.

Must be able to read blue prints and have some technical/electrical background. The successful candidate will be trained to interpret projects, develop project costs and material price take-offs.

Estimator Skills: The use of conversational, analytical and observational skills to support the accurate presentation of the company’s services. Familiarity with building codes, laws and regulations. Ability to understand and use blueprints and other project planning/technical documents.

Qualifications:

1. Education in a Technical or Electrical Technology, science, is highly desired

2. 3 to 6 years experience in a technical or some related environment

3. Strong statistical and analytical skills

4. Strong communication skills

6. Strong attention to detail
