Calibrate has been retained by Thompson Hine, an Am Law 200 firm with around 400 lawyers across 8 offices, to recruit a Contract Solutions Business Manager. Reporting to the Chief Practice Innovation Officer, the Contract Solutions Manager will lead the business operations of the firm’s flexible approach to assist in-house counsel with all facets of contract management.

This position may be filled in any of Thompson Hine's office locations [Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL; Cincinnati, OH; Cleveland, OH; Columbus, OH; Dayton, OH; New York, NY; or Washington, DC]

Key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing the business operations of the Contract Solutions business unit;
• Developing and implementing strategies to streamline the process for managing high-volume and low-complexity contract reviews and negotiations;
• Establishing reports and dashboards to ensure clients stay abreast of the status of an individual contract or an entire portfolio of contracts;
• Proactively identifying existing and prospective client targets;
• Spearheading a staffing plan and managing workflow; and
• Identifying opportunities to improve the Contract Solutions service delivery.

The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit and bring demonstrated success with utilizing legal technology, establishing streamlined systems and protocols, an in-depth understanding of best practices in the industry, and change management to advocate for and drive adoption of innovative solutions.

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must possess 10 years of relevant law firm or corporate legal department experience; a Juris Doctor and/or a certification in project management are highly desired. We will be seeking candidates who can demonstrate their capacity for solving complex problems utilizing persuasion and communication skills and an adept ability to work cross-functionally to accomplish goals.
