We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsWhat You Will Do In This Role:* You will support and assist the Sterile Processing Manager in providing operations of the Sterile Processing department.* You will assists in the Quality Improvement Processing of the department.* You will perform procedures related to decontamination, assembly and sterilization of surgical instrumentation for Surgical Services and Nursing units.* You will review sterilization records and prepares reports as assigned.* You will demonstrate team work, adaptability, and assume responsibility for unit operation, in absence of the Manager.* You will have accountability for delivering quality services and for promoting a positive image of the departmentWhat qualifications you will need:* Certification in Central Processing Required (CRST)* Graduate of a formal Sterile Processing Technology Program required.* 1-3 years of Sterile Processing experience is required.At The Womans Hospital of Texas, our care philosophy is Woman First.
