This individual will be responsible for day to day accounting activities in accordance with Institute policy and departmental procedures. Duties include, but are not limited to: preparing balance sheet account reconciliation and analysis, bank reconciliations, daily cash analysis and checks for bank upload, recording cash receipts, recording journal entries, managing NIH grant accounts cash draws, serving as petty cash custodian, assisting the management of the employee travel system, manages finances for Shared Facilities and maintains several fixed asset activities, among other responsibilities as assigned .Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting or business-related field is preferred.Experience Preferred: At least two years of related accounting experience.Specific Knowledge, Skills, or other Qualifications: Basic knowledge of accounting/bookkeeping. Microsoft applications experience required , such as Microsoft Excel and Word .
