Job Summary
As the Sr Solutions Manager IT for ERP and Back Office, you'll spearhead the strategic alignment of technology with business goals. Leading a team, you'll oversee the development and management of a solution portfolio, ensuring it meets current and future business needs while adhering to architectural standards. Additionally, you will directly manage two Solutions Analysts supporting Finance, Fuels Marketing, and Real Estate and Development teams, providing guidance, day-to-day oversight / assistance, and serving as the primary point of escalation for these areas.
Key Responsibilities
Developing and Leading a High-Performing Team: Manage and provide leadership to a team of Solutions Analysts responsible for supporting Finance, Fuels Marketing, and Real Estate and Development teams. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the team.
Interpreting Business Needs: Translate business requirements into technical solutions, collaborating closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment, developing roadmaps and balancing production support with those roadmaps and future capabilities.
Assessing Technology: Monitor and evaluate the current solution portfolio, recommending enhancements or retirements to maintain relevance and efficiency. Knowing when to invest versus harvest capabilities.
Applying Technology: Serve as a liaison between business and IT teams, guiding the implementation of solutions based on enterprise strategy and standards. This includes proper hand off to support and development of support materials. Establish standards for presenting KPI's for the full "health" of the portfolio (support and projects).
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's or master's degree in relevant fields or equivalent experience.
Minimum five (5) years in IT solution development with three (3) years in IT management roles.
Exposure to diverse technologies and platforms, with knowledge of emerging trends.
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Additional Skills
Experience with ERP systems, particularly PDI Technologies, is beneficial.
Familiarity with architecture development, agile methodologies, and project management.
Ability to navigate organizational dynamics and influence decision-making.

Availability and Travel
The hybrid schedule includes two days (Tues and Thurs) in-office at our La Plata, MD headquarters each week. More days may be requested for training, development, project meetings, etc.
Occasional travel to our sites or for training or conferences may be required, related travel expenses eligible for reimbursement.
