RNs who are interested in#intensive care#are in for a treat working in our 20-bed ICU unit. As a Level 2 Trauma Center, our ICU RNs see a variety of patients (trauma, surgical, cardiac, etc.) and are able to engage in care related to STEMI#s, Strokes, Hypothermia, Balloon Pumps, Open Hearts, Vents, Drips, SI/Overdoses, Thoracotomy, VATS, and more. Staff on this unit will also be able to work with their Nurse Manager to identify career development opportunities including championing quality initiatives, participating in committees, and training to charge and/or precept. Full-Time, Part-Time and PRN! Dayshift # Nightshift! # SUMMARY: Responsible for the delivery of professional nursing services which will address the physical, psycho-social, spiritual, cultural, developmental, and age-appropriate needs of each individual patient/family. Accountable for the care of patients within an assigned unit, and coordinates care planning with other disciplines. May serve on Advanced Care and Evaluation (ACE) Team as determined by department leadership. Required Education/Training: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Required Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current Registered Nurse license with eligibility to work in the state of Missouri; BLS Healthcare Provider Preferred Education/Training: BSN Preferred Experience: Minimum six (6) months recent Critical Care experience Preferred Licensure/Certification/Registration: Critical Care (CCRN); ACLS; TNCC; CEN; PALS
