THE JOB:

As a Baggage Handler, you'll be integral to our mission of ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction. Collaborating closely with the Bell Person, you'll assist in efficiently managing luggage and personal belongings, playing a vital role in delivering outstanding service. This position entails significant labor-intensive tasks throughout the baggage handling process. If you excel in dynamic environments and are committed to providing top-notch service, this role offers an ideal pathway for growth, with opportunities to advance into a Bell Person position.

THE STARTING PAY RATE: $18.34/HR

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Manage the efficient flow of baggage within the compound, meticulously retrieving bags from the belt systems and organizing them into designated grids based on luggage tag numbers, ensuring timely availability upon request
• Facilitate seamless arrivals and departures for hotel groups by expertly handling the transport of luggage, ensuring prompt delivery to guest rooms and efficient retrieval upon departure
• Deliver exceptional customer service aligned with the company's core service standards and brand identity, ensuring each interaction reflects our commitment to excellence and enhances the guest experience
• Engage in physically demanding tasks such as lifting, carrying, and maneuvering heavy luggage items, ensuring efficient baggage handling operations

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Identifies as an outdoor enthusiast and is comfortable working in various weather conditions
• Actively seeks opportunities to improve processes and operations, demonstrating a proactive approach in anticipating and addressing needs before they arise

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• At least six (6) Months of guest service experience
• Ability to work varied shifts to include weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift/pull up to 100 lbs
