Responsibilities
The Circulating Nurse is responsible for coordinating and managing the multidisciplinary activities required to provide a safe environment for patients undergoing surgical intervention.Assess patient’s physical and psychological needs.Evaluate and implement appropriate measures to assure a safe recovery from anesthesia.The OR nurse serves as a patient advocate in the provision of care and is responsible for ensuring patient safety during intra-operative period and with recovery from anesthesia during immediate post op period and with transport to PACU.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing;Current Nursing License in the State of Kansas;Current BLS certification;Current ACLS certifications;Preferred Job Requirements:Two years of experience prefer
