**Responsibilities**

Provide distributive pharmacy services and technical support for the pharmacist.

Refill and maintain automated dispensing systems.

Prepare orders and maintain inventory for the pharmacy department.

Repackage bulk medications.

Receive and store incoming supplies.

Serve as liaison between pharmacy, patient and health professional by providing information as necessary.

**Requirements**

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulationobtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) preferred

Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association preferred

Education:

High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience,if applicable

**Additional Preferences**

Commitment of at **LEAST 2 shifts per month or 1 shift per pay period (every 2 weeks).**

Ideally also be willing to work some PM shifts on the weekend as well.

National certification from PTCB or NHA
