THE TUXEDO CLUB is Hiring a Part-time Men's Locker Room Attendant - Private Country Club Near Tuxedo Park, NY
Job Summary The locker room attendant is a friendly and hospitable "people'' person who is looking to deliver exceptional experiences as a part of a team. Being organized, independently motivated and having an attention to detail is a necessity for this position. Coordination and communication between the members and colleagues is crucial. All duties of the position shall be performed with a commitment to the highest level of care and hospitality. Duties & Responsibilities
Shoe shining; washing & folding of towels;
emptying trash, dusting & vacuuming the locker room & main areas of Clubhouse; clean and deodorize bathrooms; replenish locker room supplies; polish/clean furniture, fixtures, windows, window ledges; mop floors
De-lime &de-calcify shower dividers as well as sink faucets & shower heads
Assist with the general cleaning of the public & back of house areas of Golf Clubhouse; which includes but not limited to: cleaning member & employee bathrooms; emptying trash in employee areas including offices; dusting & vacuuming the main areas; cleaning windows both inside & outside; polish/clean furniture, fixtures, & window ledges; mop floors; sweeping outdoor patios
Maintain and assign locker space issue locker keys
Assist management with the inventories of all cleaning & locker room supplies
Clean, organize, and maintain locker room supply store rooms
Set-up of coffee and continental breakfast for the members in the mornings on weekends
Cleans and stock bathrooms on the golf course with supplies
Launders and folds all towels, linens & on-course slipcovers as presented by team members
Report all safety and security issues to a manager immediately
During off season, assist the maintenance team with projects across both club locations

Basic knowledge of cleaning
Positive attitude & excellent communication skills with attention to detail in a fast paced facility
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Must be able to work varied shifts which include weekdays, evenings, weekends & holidays
Organizational awareness and team oriented
Ability to work independently
Hospitality & seasonal work experience preferred

Working Conditions As a locker room attendant, you may be a full time or part time hourly position. It is expected that you may have to work on evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
May need to work in wet or humid conditions, near moving parts, near fumes or airborne particles, in extreme non-weather heat, & in extreme non-weather cold
Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, lift, use hands & fingers, reach with hands & arms, talk &/or hear
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, & depth perception
Employees must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs multiple times per day, & push a cart weighing up to 100lbs
Expect to be on their feet for up to 6 hours at a time
Must practice proper body mechanics & use appropriate personal protective equipment to avoid injury
