eWord Solutions is looking for legal clerks to join our team. We seek candidates to support formatting documents in the MerusCase case-management system.

Ideal candidates will have excellent computer and organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal communications. Candidates with prior experience in California workers' compensation are encouraged to apply; all qualified candidates will be considered.

Responsibilities

Research – Locate specific documents required for formatting
Format – Format legal documents in MS Word according to client specifications and guidelines
Organize – Ensure accuracy in formatting and language consistency
Liaise – Collaborate with the office manager or attorney as required for particular cases
Facilitate – Make necessary corrections and upload formatted documents into Merus

Requirements

• High school diploma
• 2 years of experience of uploading documents into Merus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially MS Word)
• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
• Proven ability to meet deadlines 
• Positive attitude
• Resourcefulness, creativity, and problem-solving skill set
• Familiarity with office equipment
