The Staff Pad is currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Geotechnical Engineer for our client in Reno, Nevada. As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will play a critical role in overseeing the design, implementation, and management of various civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license in Nevada and California, with expertise in diverse civil engineering domains.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred).
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Nevada and California.
- Proven experience in geotechnical engineering, including foundation design and slope stability analysis.
- Proficient in relevant geotechnical analysis and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Geo5, LPile).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically in complex geotechnical situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
POSITION: Senior Geotechnical Engineer
- Lead geotechnical engineering efforts for various projects, ensuring effective and safe design solutions.
- Market to attract public and private sector clients, oversee field technicians, and provide technical guidance.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to address geotechnical inquiries.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
-Provide insights on optimizing project timelines, budget control, risk management, safety protocols, and quality assurance.
- Develop relationships with Eastern Sierra Engineering staff, cross-market, and identify potential clients.
- Internal Client (Management): Support talent acquisition, development, and clear communication.
- Internal Client (Employees): Advocate for safety, development opportunities, and consistency.
- External Clients: Emphasize follow-up, compliance, and timeliness.
