Who We Are:
At Full Life, we are dedicated to providing exceptional services that are specifically tailored to the unique needs of individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities. Our top priority is improving our participants' overall well-being while promoting independence, inclusion, health, social opportunities, and personal growth. We take great pride in our customized approach, which emphasizes self-determination and fosters a sense of community and belonging for all.
For over two decades, Full Life has been a beacon of hope for individuals seeking assistance in leading a self-directed life. Our humble beginnings as a small agency have been transformed into a comprehensive support provider with not one but two offices located in Hilo and Kona and an Adult Day Health Learning Center in Kona. Our team, consisting of over a hundred highly committed employees, works tirelessly to ensure that each individual's unique needs are met with compassion and understanding.
What We Are Looking For:
Are you ready to be part of something truly special? Our administration team is looking for a dynamic and dedicated Program Coordinator! As a Program Coordinator (PC), you'll be at the helm, supervising an amazing team of Direct Support Providers (DSPs) who offer support and services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will have previous experience overseeing the implementation of services and support for individuals with IDD/DD through their Individual Support Plans (ISP). In this role, get ready to collaborate and network with a diverse team to ensure that team members and participants receive top-notch services. This would mean collaborating with clinical and participant support teams, overseeing support services for multiple locations on the island, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements through quality assurance activities. If this sounds like your kind of gig, we'd love to chat with you!
What You'll Bring:
We are seeking individuals with the essential abilities to offer assistance and care to individuals with disabilities. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated to deliver exceptional care and dedicated to serving those in need.

This comprehensive approach ensures that the individual's needs, rights, and preferences are considered and met in a person-centered manner.

A Program Coordinator liaises between participant representatives, community providers, case managers, group homes, families, and interdepartmental services to facilitate service coordination. The position aims to increase and improve participant involvement and ensure that participants feel valued, respected, and honored. Additionally, the responsibilities involve troubleshooting and resolving any community-related issues or concerns and assisting in coordinating public and private transportation for participants and staff based on their desired activities.
Staff Supervision, Training and Development
