The Salvation Army USA Southern Territory is Hiring a Corps Administrator - Tulsa Citadel Salvation Army - FT Near Tulsa, OK

The Salvation Army, an internationally recognized non-profit, faith-based organization, is looking for a Corps Administrator for our Tulsa Citadel located in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Job Summary:
Serves as an evangelist to and represents The Salvation Army in the community and constituency of the Corps; provides spiritual guidance and leadership to the same; recruits members for the Army of Jesus Christ while encouraging membership into The Salvation Army; supervises and schedules Corps groups, community outreach programs, and social service work; monitors and maintains adequate financing and budgetary compliance of the Corps operations. Fill in for Area Commanders when a uniformed presence is needed within the 5-county service area.
Plans, directs, and participates in the day-to-day operation, management, and maintenance of a Salvation Army Corps which may include oversight of a Thrift Store, Shelter Operation, Community Center, or other specialized programs; recruits and manages a team of staff and volunteers; supervises the bookkeeping, sales, statistics, payroll processes, as well as screening and providing services to clients. Launch and oversee Sunday worship service at COH.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of The Salvation Army mission and ministry.
Knowledge of the Bible, doctrine, and theology.
Knowledge of principles and practices of Christian leadership and spiritual development.
Knowledge of effective preaching and teaching skills and practices.
Knowledge of a wide variety of creative resources and practices which facilitate the modern development and promotion of Corps and community spiritual development programs.
Knowledge of the principles and practices of social services administration.
Knowledge of the principles and practices of bookkeeping.
Knowledge of the principles and practices of marketing and public relations to promote awareness of the Service Centers' services.
Knowledge of the principles and practices of personnel supervision.
Ability to prepare accurate and complete bookkeeping, statistics.
Ability to screen social service clients for eligibility to receive social service assistance.
Ability to account for all Center funds and to ensure financial assistance disbursement is in compliance with budget and program policies.
Ability to build effective working relationships with community agencies to make appropriate referrals between agencies.
Ability to recruit, lead, and motivate soldiers to accomplish the total mission of Jesus Christ through The Salvation Army.
Ability to establish and nurture relationships with adults and children of all ages and their families.
Ability to plan, organize, and promote COH and Corps group functions.
Ability to administer programs within established budget constraints.
Ability to become and remain certified to drive Salvation Army vehicles per Salvation Army insurance requirements.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Must have demonstrated experience in a Corps leadership role.
Strong Supervisory skills.
Certifications:
Valid state driver's license.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to meet attendance requirements.
Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language.
Duties are usually performed by frequent walking and/or standing, kneeling, or squatting relieved by lesser periods of sitting.
Working Conditions:
Office work is performed in a normal environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
Evangelistic Outreach work may occur outside with exposure to some physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
