**Description**

This important role is responsible for ensuring the physical aspects of the property are maintained by cleaning the common areas of the property, as well as, functioning in a support role to the maintenance team.

**About you:**

****Essential Duties and Responsibilities****

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

* Maintain the common areas neat and tidy, which include but is not limited to the driveways, parking lots, curbs, trash receptacle areas, and any public areas

* Communicates with supervisor regarding the status of work and any potential issues

* Performs resident in-unit cleaning as needed

* Performs in-unit turn cleans in preparation for new resident move-ins and move-outs.

* Ensures maintenance cleaning supplies are in stock and inform supervisor when reordering is necessary

* Inspects buildings and grounds to ensure safety and cleanliness, and alerts Maintenance to items that need to be repaired

* Provides excellent customer service to prospective residents and current tenants, and promotes a high-quality living experience for all residents

* General building preventive maintenance tasks

* Communicates with supervisor regarding the overall maintenance cleaning function of the property.

* Common area clean-up to include, cleaning around pool/hot tub and outside grilling area, laundry rooms, public restrooms, trash bins, first floor main lobby, 3rd and 4th floor amenity rooms, and all interior hallways

* Participates in Company-provided training such as fair housing, safety, non-discrimination, and harassment prevention

* Complies with all Company National Standards, applicable health and safety rules and regulations, as well as applicable local, state, and federal laws

****Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)****

* Must be highly motivated and able to work independently

* Possess effective verbal and written communication skills

* Basic reading skills

* Must be organized and able to prioritize and multi-task

* Possess basic knowledge of workplace safety procedures
