Description

The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for accurately processing payroll for all employees and providing support for various payroll-related inquiries. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for employees accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Calculate wages, deductions, and adjustments as per company policies and relevant regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of payroll transactions.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management as needed.
  • Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate employee data and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Participate in payroll audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
  • Generate and distribute year-end tax documents, including W-2 forms.
  • Handle other payroll-related tasks and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Experience working as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Familiarity with PAYCOM is a plus.
