ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Responsible for the mixing and serving alcoholic beverage and/or non-alcoholic beverages according to establishment recipes and procedures in a prompt and efficient manner.
2. Responsible for receiving, issuing, and keeping necessary records of liquor store and supplies.
3. Maintains a neat and clean bar station on a continual basis.
4. Knowledge of all beverage regulations.
5. Participates as a team member with all Bar backs, Supervisors, and any other employee to ensure efficient operational standard.
6. Knowledgeable in Food & Beverage/ SREC policies.
7. Other duties as assigned by Food & Beverage Director and/or CEO
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Well versed on cocktail drink preparation. Ability to work under pressure with multi-patrons requesting assistance. Ability to work well with diverse personalities. Ability to firmly dent drinks to patron that may be past their alcohol limitations. Ability to count money and provide accurate change to customers. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money. Ability to take verbal cocktail and drink orders.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or GED preferred. Minimum of six month's related experience. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills. Must have basic mathematical capabilities to count currency and provide accurate change to customers. Must be culturally sensitive to minority population especially Native Americans; must be able to successfully pass a post-offer drug screen and criminal history background check. Must be able to obtain and hold a Food Handlers card within 30 days of employment or present upon hire.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While preforming the duties of this job, the Employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Ability to work in an environment where loud music is played.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
