DARTdrones Drone Instructor for High School Students

DARTdrones, a leading drone training and consulting company, is seeking a Drone Instructor to deliver our drone curriculum to high school students in the Dallas Fort Worth area. As a Drone Instructor, you will be responsible for conducting engaging drone classes to high school students, following the curriculum provided by DARTdrones. This role combines expertise in drone operation with a passion for education and youth engagement. While the curriculum is designed for beginners, we are looking for someone with substantial drone expertise for this role.

Requirements

• FAA Part 107 Certificate
• Minimum 3 Years of Commercial sUAS Experience
• Expertise in one of the following areas: sUAS for public safety, sUAS for industrial inspections, sUAS for mapping
• Must own a DJI Phantom 4, Mavic 2, or Inspire 2 for classroom use
• Available to teach a 1.5-hour class, twice a week for the entire school year
• Must be located within 20 minutes of Dallas Fort Worth Airport
• Prior experience working with young adults or in educational settings highly preferred
• Required to pass a background check and fingerprinting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to host a fun, engaging, and interactive class using the provided curriculum

Position Details

This is a part-time position specifically tailored for the duration of the school year. You will be contracted to teach scheduled classes as per the academic calendar. Flexibility in schedule and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment are key.

Pay: $30.00 - $60.00 per hour
