GBA is Hiring an Accounting Clerk (Expense Report Specialist) Near Lenexa, KS

Accounting Clerk (Expense Report Specialist)

GBA’s accounting group has an immediate opening for an Accounting Clerk to administer our expense report system and to assist with project setups and other general accounting duties. The ideal candidate would have 1-2 years of accounting experience. This candidate also should be a team player willing to perform any task/responsibility required and should be dependable, detail-oriented, organized, technically competent, process improvement focused, and have the ability to communicate to varying audiences. The position will report to the Controller and will have contact with the Chief Financial Officer as well as with all levels of management and staff.

Responsibilities:

Process and oversee expense report entry, approval, and reimbursement
Filing
Backup accounting functions, as appropriate
Encourage continuous process improvements to support changing company operations
Other special projects and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

1-2 years of relevant work experience
Experience in the Engineering, Professional Services, or Construction industries considered a plus
Experience with SAP Concur considered a plus
Must be a collaborative, team player who is organized and self-motivated
Customer oriented, responsive approach
Background and credit check will be performed
