Overview of Position

OSPORTS is seeking Project Architectsfor our Tampa, FL office locationwho will report to the Director of OSPORTSand are able to fulfill the responsibilities and qualification notes below.

Position Responsibilities:

• Planning and design of projects including Sports, Broadcast infrastructure, Industrial and in general support to related Engineering opportunities.
• Interface with Director of Architecture, Project Managers and project teams.
• Work in tandem with highly collaborative multi-discipline design teams.
• Research and coordination of materials and products for project specifications.
• Implementation of all local, state, and federal applicable building codes, constructability, and architectural standards of practice.
• Actively research new building materials and industry standards for implementation into future projects.

Job Requirements/Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Architecture
• Must have 7 years of project architect experience within one or more of the following fields: Sports (stadiums, arenas, practice facilities, etc.); Broadcast (studios, transmitter facilities, infrastructure), Industrial, Commercial and/or Mixed-Use.
• Must have understanding and knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, building construction, building systems, and site requirements
• Must have Architectural License or be seeking completion of the NCARB Architectural Experience Program as preparation for taking the Architectural Registration Examinations.
• Ability to provide efficient and elegant design solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, able to have a solid working relationship with clients
• Proficient in AutoCAD preferred.
• Proficient in current version of Revit Architecture preferred.
