The Goddard School located in Dublin, Ohio is looking for a motivated, self-starter for an Assistant Director position at our School. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and a good understanding of a developmentally appropriate learning program for young children. In addition, the ideal candidate will possess the ability to motivate and inspire others. In The Goddard School's unique and flexible learning environment, child development is about more than just reaching milestones. The assistant director's responsibilities include the following:
Assist the Center Director with administrative tasks, including record-keeping, scheduling, and correspondence
Using a growth mindset to train, coach, and develop the School for the future
Developing strong relationships with our families
Provide classroom support as needed, including stepping in for teachers during absences.
Complying with state childcare licensing regulations and all Quality Assurance criteria required by Goddard
Projecting an upbeat attitude while working in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrating highly effective organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
Having a genuine love for children and a strong commitment to education
Help organize and coordinate special events and staff meetings
Drive the center's bus for field trips, school-age transportation, and other activities as needed

Qualifications :
Associate of Arts or Science Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Previous experience in an early childhood education setting
Organized and able to multitask, strategically resolves challenges, and has a great attitude
Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement
Must be over 21 years of age with a clean driving record for the past 3 years. Valid driver's license and ability to drive a 14-passenger mini-bus
