The Goddard School located in Dublin, Ohio is looking for a motivated, self-starter for an Assistant Director position at our School. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and a good understanding of a developmentally appropriate learning program for young children. In addition, the ideal candidate will possess the ability to motivate and inspire others.

The assistant director's responsibilities include the following:

• Assist the Center Director with administrative tasks, including record-keeping, scheduling, and correspondence
• Using a growth mindset to train, coach, and develop the School for the future
• Developing strong relationships with our families
• Provide classroom support as needed, including stepping in for teachers during absences.
• Complying with state childcare licensing regulations and all Quality Assurance criteria required by Goddard
• Projecting an upbeat attitude while working in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrating highly effective organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
• Having a genuine love for children and a strong commitment to education
• Help organize and coordinate special events and staff meetings
• Drive the center's bus for field trips, school-age transportation, and other activities as needed

Qualifications :

• Associate of Arts or Science Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Previous experience in an early childhood education setting
• Organized and able to multitask, strategically resolves challenges, and has a great attitude
• Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement
• Must be over 21 years of age with a clean driving record for the past 3 years. Valid driver's license and ability to drive a 14-passenger mini-bus
