The Learning Experience is Hiring a Staff Accountant Near Deerfield, FL
On-site role in Deerfield Beach, FL
Responsibilities:
- Assists with monthly, quarterly and annual closings of corporate and managed centers which includes bank reconciliations, voucher submissions, analysis of AR, accruals, prepaid amortizations, and fixed assets
- Assists in the financial reporting process for internal management reporting
- Balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis
- Processing payroll for corporate employees
- Filing annual reports, resolving tax notices, obtaining PR tax state IDs for new corporate and managed schools
- Participates in the preparation of the annual audit
- Maintain records of account entries by compiling and analyzing accounting activities, and maintaining the general ledger
- Reviews center financial statements for completeness, accuracy, and compliance
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field required
- Payroll experience required
- Minimum 2 years of progressive experience
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license desired
- Sage500 and BI360 desired
