Title: Sr. Research Associate Location: South San Francisco, CA Shift: M-F, 8am - 5pm Pay Rate: $45-$55/hr. Research Associate/Senior Research Associate - Pharmacology Responsibilities
Play a key role in evaluating mechanistic hypotheses for drug responses using samples generated from in-vivo studies, utilizing diverse molecular biology techniques to assess gene modulation and interrogate pathways of interest.
Lead the development and implementation of ex-vivo assays for screening new potential therapeutics in vivo.
Contribute to method development for new ex-vivo assays, experimental protocols, and related readouts for specific project needs.
Collaborate with research teams on relevant ex vivo assays (Western Blot, qPCR, MSD, IHC, Flow Cytometry, etc.).
Design and manage research experiments, and analyze and interpret scientific data under general supervisiondevelopment and execution of preclinical models to understand the efficacy and PK/PD relationships of our small molecule agents under development for the treatment of cancer.

Requirements
BA/BS or MS with 1 years' (Research Associate) or 3 years' (Senior Research Associate) laboratory experience in cancer biology, biochemistry, cell biology, immunology or related field.
Practical laboratory experience handling and processing of animal tissues for DNA, RNA, and protein extraction.
Experience in mammalian tissue culture and ex vivo assays such as western blot, ELISA, gene expression analysis (qRT-PCR), flow cytometry, MSD, IF, and IHC.
Experience in assay development, optimization and troubleshooting is a plus.
