Our client, a leading provider of property assessment and reserve study services, is seeking an experienced Civil/Site Reserve Specialist to drive their national expansion into the multifamily residential market. This represents an excellent opportunity to take a key leadership role with one of the most respected brands in the industry.

In this critical position, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive site inspections, assessments and capital reserve analyses focused on the civil/site components of multifamily properties. This includes evaluating items such as parking lots, drainage systems, stormwater management, site utilities, landscaping and more.

You will produce authoritative reports detailing component conditions, repair/replacement costs, remaining useful lives and capital reserve requirements in alignment with industry standards. Developing long-term predictive capital reserve models to ensure sufficient site reserves will be a primary responsibility.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
  • Reserve Study certification (RS or PRA) is required
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of direct experience conducting site/civil assessments and capital planning
  • Extensive expertise with multifamily residential site design, utilities and infrastructure
  • Excellent technical writing abilities to develop comprehensive reports
  • Strong quantitative skills for cost estimation, lifecycle analysis and financial modeling

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and leading site inspections to evaluate overall conditions
  • Preparing component inventories, site plans, deficiency logs and condition ratings
  • Developing long-term capital reserve studies and funding models for site assets
  • Contributing to full Property Condition Assessment (PCA) reports
  • Reviewing construction drawings, site plans and technical specifications
  • Cultivating new client relationships in the multifamily residential sector

The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with outstanding organization, client service and project management abilities. You must have a proven track record of successfully executing site/civil assessments and reserve studies.
