The Egg Bistro in Chesapeake, VA is looking for Kitchen Manager to join our 82 person strong team. We are located on 501 Kempsville Rd. Our ideal candidate is organized with great management skills attentive, punctual, and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Direct food processing and handling
• Monitor and manage food temperature and inventory stock
• Follow health and safety guidelines
• Handle food related concerns
• Ability to effectively lead, coach and motivate their team
• Always display professionalism and lead by example
• Hold staff accountable to company standards consistently
• Ability to work in a very fast paced environment
• Complete inventory, scheduling, ordering hiring
• Train and fill positions in the kitchen

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a head cook
• Extensive knowledge of kitchen equipment and utensils
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively
